Themes
For the main theme we expect papers dealing with perception of
speech as unavoidable part of speech comunication. That includes following
fields of interest:
- Aspects of development
- Research methods
- Theories and models
- Specifics (Is speech unique?)
- Perception of segmental and suprasegmental elements of speech
- Disorders and difficulties in speech perception
This thematic block is positively defined only by the fact that
object of interest should be speech (any aspect), and negatively
defined in the way that object of interest should not fit in speech
perception group. Just to mention some of the topics:
- semantic of lingual and nonlingual speech signs
- sociophonetics and language planning (orthoepy)
- neurophonetic, psychophonetic, physiological and acoustical spects of speech
- use of computers in speech research
- speech development
- foreign language acquisition
- disfunction and rehabilitation of speech
- literary or artistic speech etc.
Topics are listed just as an encouragement and reminder,
not as a final or a restricted list.
